Let's help Greg and Dean Vos!
Greg and Dean Vos and Dean’s girlfriend, Robyn Vercellotti, were involved in a very serious accident on the way back from the regional championship meeting in East London last Sunday morning. Their dreams for a great end to what has been their best racing season by far went up in smoke when their transporter burnt out, along with their Kawasaki ZX-6R, tools, Dean’s riding gear, and numerous personal effects. Greg is currently in intensive care with multiple fractures, a punctured lung and crushed vertebrae while 18 year old Dean does all he can to keep their family business functioning and support his two younger brothers – their mother tragically lost her life in a road accident a few years back.
Kawasaki Motors South Africa (KMSA) along with the Vos family’s friends and supporters has launched a fund to help them through this very difficult time, and any donations would be welcomed. The fund will be managed by Kawasaki Motors South Africa, who kicked it off with a healthy donation, and is subject to audit.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PURPOSE OF THIS FUND IS TO HELP WITH THE DAY-TO-DAY EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE VOS FAMILY DURING THIS TRYING TIME. DEAN'S RACING CAREER AND THE LOSS OF HIS EQUIPMENT IS A SEPARATE ISSUE THAT WILL BE DEALT WITH BY KMSA AND DEAN'S SPONSORS.
Payments can be made to:
